James “BUCK” was a longtime friend. I would talk with him during junior high school and he would be towering over me and listen to my madness 😂. I always felt safe when he was around. Rest in peace my friend. Darryl Harvey & Family

 I was a coworker of his from Metro Stops and Zone.  James was a very good and 
hard  worker.  He was very detailed in all his jobs.  He would come in and set up his work early for that day.
James was very smart and intelligent.
James and I were both early birds to our job. We would have some great discussions about many subjects. We also had similar discussions as we waiting to punch out from work. He was very informed.
I will have fond memories of the time we spent together.  A Brother, a coworker and a friend,  Rest In Peace James.

I want to send my condolences to the Family. I really enjoyed the conversation James and I had. I appreciated him speaking his mind and also the way he came in and did his job. May God give comfort to his family.

Our deepest condolences to the family of James Williams. I’m very thankful to have had him in the role as one of the most kindest and meaningful caring neighbors ever. He was always a source of great conversations about everything from sports, music, and motorcycles , along with neighborhood talk. James was very patient and understanding of my autistic son throwing his toys over the fence, his late night swimming in our summer pool, and some late night rants. He would chuckle and say, “It’s okay, it doesn’t bother me, and it’ll be fine “… He made some excellent suggestions for different things we discussed, and we were always grateful for his wisdom. 

Due to James’s perseverance and determination, projects that needed to get done around our condos got done! He followed up to ensure that follow through for living safely and comfortably was accomplished. He also was very courteous in little things like garage door maintenance, ( he would make sure our garage door was well oiled, like his was)…

Alan, Rhys, and myself had hoped to have a meal with James, before the end of this year, and I’m heartbroken that won’t happen. I’ll miss our courteous texts and seeing him outside our garages so we could chat. We can truly say, James was a man of great integrity, positivity, and  being inspirational in being a good neighbor. He was very much liked and appreciated and will be missed by all he knew in our community. 

Sending prayers and condolences, especially to his children to be comforted and have peace that surpasses understanding during this time. We’re here for you.

Our deepest Condolences to the Williams Family,
We were very blessed to have James in our lives,
In the beginning a work friendship, however James instantly became apart of our personal lives, instant family member!!! James was an Awesome Man of God, A Loving Father, & an Amazing Friend!! A Man with a big heart, great character and integrity, generous spirit, who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He shared his faith every chance he got, weather through a text, a word, or even just through his big smile. He also doted on his family, during some of our many conversations, how beautiful & wonderful his daughter is, how very much he loves his son and some of the life lessons he was teaching him, and also how his granddaughter/baby girl was the bright light, sunshine in his life, and how she was his little fashionista. I can remember one of the conversations we had about her being a little fashionista and how her wardrobe would fill up a large walk-in closet!! Not long after our conversation about his little baby girl, myself and my husband's granddaughter was born, James brought her several outfits, and told me to make sure that she wears them before they get too little. I told him to tell his daughter and his baby girl/Lil fashionista thank you for hooking him up with the right advice on clothing, we both fell out laughing!!! We can go on and on about the many conversations that we've had with James, however there's just not enough time. James was a very bright light in our lives, that lit up our world,  and we will keep his bright light shining, as long as we are here, by keeping memories of him, and the time we shared together in our hearts. Not a day goes by that we don't think of James and send up prayers for his beautiful family. James was truly one of a kind, he will definitely be missed!!!

I will always remember James as a kind and gentle soul.   He always stood back and took everything in with his beautiful  smile.  His demeanor reflected how much he adored and loved his family.  ❤️

James was a well liked and well respected member of the stops & zones department at METRO.  James was never shy about saying what needed to be said in our morning meetings and always talked about riding his motorcycle and loving on his grand daughter. He would also tease me about the cost of gas because i drove a big truck and he had a prius.  rest in peace brother 🙏

A special kind of someone. He was biblical...in the sense that he didn't let his left hand know what his right hand was doing. No showy displays or acknowledgement for his kindness, a secret man with a selfless soul.  My heart tells me his father in heaven smiles at him with "well done my good and faithful servant."  I will miss you cousin. 😔

My uncle was the absolute ideal uncle. He has always been one phone call or text away . Smart , loving, kind, selfless. There was no task to big or small when it came to his family. I am completely devastated with the lost of my uncle but I know he is safe and in good hands. Prayers for my family .

To the entire Williams Family, my sincere condolences and Prayers goes out to you all. I can truly say James will always remain in my heart. Being that we practically grew up in the same household at times he was like a Brother to me. I'm so glad I got to tell him that a few weeks ago. At a drop of a dime he was willing to help anytime he could, always there if I needed him. For me now, the world will continue to be a hard and different place to live in without him and others.
