Raymond W. Lemaster, Jr. age 94 of Carnegie, PA passed peacefully on October 12, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital. He is survived by his wife Joyce (Houseman); son Raymond III and his wife Kim of Vienna, VA; daughter Elizabeth Ann of Elizabethtown, PA; granddaughter Brianna of Glendale Heights, IL; and grandson Keith of Vienna, VA. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Union Presbyterian Church 6165 Stuebenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA at 11am on Saturday, October 23. Ray was born in Chambersburg, PA on October 7, 1927 to Raymond W. Lemaster, Sr. and Nellie Fickes. Ray was a WWII veteran who served in the Army in the Pacific Theater. He was a graduate of Shippensburg University of PA and Duquesne University. He was an educator for over 30 years. He was an active Rotarian and was particularly proud of his involvement with the Interact Club program. Ray was active in his church and many charities such as World Vision and Meals on Wheels throughout his life. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Elizabeth Dovnarsky and his first wife, Nancy (Derick). The family would like to thank the staff of Allegheny General Hospital and their hospice team for their loving care of Ray and them during Rayʼs final days.
