Mrs. JoAnn A. Keenan

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at CremationSocietyofPennsylvania.com for the Keenan family. Joann Keenan, 88, of Hunker, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was a farmer's wife, married to husband, Welty, for 57 years until his passing in 2009. They spent their lives building a successful farm, raising their kids while working side by side. Together, it was a great adventure. She birthed many lambs, tended calves and home-canned the farm's vegetables while making wonderful family meals. She also loved riding her quad around the farm. Through hard work, they proudly had a thriving dairy farm along with the help of son, Curt Keenan, and later, grandson, Joel (Milowicki), who presently operates J.P.'s farmers market along with his wife, Mia (Marroncelli) Milowicki. She is survived by her two children, Curt Keenan and Terry (Paul) Milowicki; grandsons, Joel (Mia) Milowicki and Jesse Milowicki; and three great-grandchildren, J.P., Giada and Jace Milowicki; special friends, Eileen and Bob Wollerton; and her beloved pups, Puppa and Speckles. Family was everything to Joann. Heaven surely gained an angel. A private farm memorial will be held at a later date.
