Jan W. Herring

Jan W Herring, 71, born March 12, 1951 from Moon Township Pa, originally from Lancaster,Pa. died on June 14, 2022 at Heritage Valley Hospital Sewickley Pa. from a combination of COPD and C-Diff. Jan was the daughter of Herbert R. Wolf, who died in 2005 and Phyllis (Seifried) Wolf who died in 1995. Jan is survived by her husband Jack of 44 years, their son Daniel J. (Melanie), their daughter Zoe of Scottsdale Az., her sister Beth(David) of Lancaster Pa., her brother Mark (Loyon) of Smithfield NC., nieces Alex and Jessica, plus several cousins. Jan was a graduate of Hempfield High School in Lancaster County. After high school Jan worked for Armstrong in Lancaster city and for Hertz rental car at the Harrisburg Pa. airport. She then got the job of her dreams, that of being a Flight Attendant for Allegheny Airlines which became (USAirways) in 1974. She retired in 2005, being with the airline for 31 years. Jan had no hobbies but loved buying clothes, shoes and jewelry. There will be no visitation or memorial service. Just think of her, and a smile will come to your face. She would like that.
