Stephanie Jane Warner

~ Stephanie Jane Warner, 75, of New Oxford, PA lost her hard-fought battle with cancer and passed away peacefully on February 1, 2023 at her home. She was born in Hanover, PA on June 18, 1947, and was the daughter of the late Clyde O. and Dolores H. (Noel) Garber. She was a 1965 graduate of New Oxford High School. Steph was a Licensed Practical Nurse and was employed at several medical facilities in the York-Adams area over the years. Steph was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a coordinator for the New Oxford Food Pantry, and a life member of the National Harley Owners Group. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Warner, of New Oxford, PA, and brothers Daniel Garber, of York, PA, Thomas Garber, of New Oxford, PA, and David Garber of Dover, PA. Arrangements are being handled by the Cremation Society of Harrisburg. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 11 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 200 Lincoln Way East, New Oxford, PA with her pastor, Rev. Michael Seifried, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10a.m. She will be interred at "The Pines" Lutheran Church Cemetery, New Chester, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: First Lutheran Church, New Oxford, PA, the SPCA of Adams County, or the Hospice of the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove.
