OBITUARY
Mary Louise MILLIGAN
March 31, 1928 – December 17, 2020
Louise Reisinger Milligan, 92, of Mechanicsburg, PA, entered into eternal life Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle, PA. Born March 31, 1928, in Ickesburg, Perry County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Elmer Reisinger and Phoebe Elizabeth (Rumberger) Reisinger.
Louise was a member and former Deacon of the Silver Spring Presbyterian Church. She retired from The Book of the Month Club and was a member of the Mechanicsburg Library and the BOMC retirees’ club. She enjoyed her retirement years with her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Louise made many wonderful friends along the way. She cherished her life, family, and spending time at their getaway home in the mountains. Jigsaw puzzles became her favorite pastime in 2020.
Surviving are her children, Barbara Heckert (Jeff, deceased), Michael, Stephen (Julie), and Pamela Clark (Roger); 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by Dale, her devoted husband of 70 years; brothers, Kenneth, George, John, Harold, and Robert “Dick”; and sisters, Anna Swab, Marie Comp, and Jean Longnecker/Siegel.
A private service will be held by her family. Interment will be at Silver Spring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Chapel Pointe, 770 South Hanover Street, Carlisle, from whom she recived much tender loving care by her earth angels; to her church; or to a charity of your choice.

My family and I are very honored to have known and been friends with this very special lady. She and Dale were both wonderful folks who have a great family. May they both Rest In Peace now that they are once again reunited

I'm forever grateful that I had the pleasure of meeting this lady. Mrs Milligan and husband raised a fine family that I'm sure made them very proud of. With their religious backward they are waiting to see and be with their family again in God's loving paradise.
