Dr. Mark R. Hillman, 67, and Mary E. (Pease) Hillman, 66, of Harrisburg, both passed away peacefully, hand in hand, staying true to their wedding vows and commitment to “Endless Love”on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. They were happily married for 39 years.

Mark was born Feb. 14, 1953, in Racine, WI, the only child of the late Richard and Joyce (Carlson) Hillman. Mary was born May 17, 1954 in Harrisburg, the middle child of 3 to the late Dr. Louis J. and Theresa (Paulosky) Pease.

They were passionate and committed to helping others through their gifts of chiropractic medicine, education, art and most importantly their devout faith for over 25 years.

Mark had a love for all sports. He enjoyed playing golf and attending local sporting events with his son and grandson. Mary had a strong passion for her students and loved the Saint Margaret Mary Parish community as a teacher and parishioner. She enjoyed shopping trips with her daughter, her pets, and spending the summers by the pool.

Together, Mark and Mary loved spending time with their children and grandchildren and enjoyed family vacations to Ocean City, NJ. Favorite date nights included dinner and a movie, attending the theatre, and walking around Hershey Park.

Surviving Mark and Mary are their children, Michael Hillman and wife Beth Hillman; daughter, Jennifer Anderson and husband John Anderson; grandchildren, Kaylea, Conner, and Aspen; Mary’s brother, Larry Pease; their niece and nephew, Dr. Loren Pease and Vincent Pease; and extended family and friends. In addition to their parents, they were preceded in death by Mary’s brother, Joseph Pease.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, it was their last wish for memorial contributions to be made to The Kaylea Hillman Special Needs Trust c/o Michael Hillman 221 Aspen Street, Middletown PA 17057 for the care and support of their granddaughter Kaylea Hillman.
