Marilyn M. Berlin
September 20, 1932 – February 24, 2021
Marilyn M. Berlin 88, of Camp Hill, entered into God's Heavenly Realm February 24, 2021, at Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill. Born September 20, 1932, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. and Marian (Harper) Metzger.
She was a 1950 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School and served as church secretary for Fifth Street and Grace United Methodist churches in Harrisburg as well as Calvary United Methodist in Lemoyne. She loved to sing and was a former member of the Cumberland Singers in Mechanicsburg and the church choirs at Zion Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, and New Covenant Fellowship, Mechanicsburg. She was a past president of the Christian Women's Club and a Past Worthy Matron of Areme Chapter 192 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her two sons, Scott A. Berlin and wife Karen of Shermansdale, and Alan D. Berlin of Camp Hill. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Allison Ohl, husband Peter; and great grandson, Talus of Carlisle; grandson, Luke Berlin and fiancee Madeline Groenendaal of Colorado Springs, CO; grandson, Gene Berlin and wife Nadia; and stepson, Preston Gamińo of Junction City, KS; and grandson, Mark Berlin of Shermansdale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Norman D. Berlin, Jr.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Internment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, at the convenience of the family.
