Deborah A. Quattlebaum
October 21, 1951 – July 17, 2021
Deborah Alicia Quattlebaum “Dee”, 69, of York Pennsylvania, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the York Hospital with family and great friends by her side. Deborah was born to the late Raymond Winslow and Shirley Geiringer Winslow on Sunday, October 21, 1951 in Bronx, New York. Deborah had 3 brothers, who are all deceased: Edward J. Winslow, Robert C. Winslow Sr., and Leslie Chenowith. Her mother died when she was 3 years old and her father when she was 15 years old.
Deborah left New York to live with her uncle Charles A. Winslow, his wife Erma L. Winslow, and their daughter Olivia J. Winslow. Charles A. Winslow died in 1973 and Erma L. Winslow in 2019 at 95.
Dee leaves to celebrate her life and to cherish precious memories of her and their life together, Olivia J. Winslow (Cousin/sister) NY; Gloria Winslow (sister in law) Raymond Winslow (nephew), and his children Tina L. McCullough (niece), and her children; Eugene D. Quattlebaum, Demitrius T. Quattlebaum, Quatisha M. Quattlebaum, Aleesa M. Quattlebaum and Mariah L. Quattlebaum (Children). LaShontus, Jeremiah, Rashawn, Lashawn, Ayden, Jordyn, ZyLiyah, and Madison (Grandchildren) Cristina Miller and Tyrone Miller and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Deborah graduated from Darby Township High School in 1969. She furthered her studies between 1988-2009 acquiring a BS in Social Science, MA in Counseling Psychology, and MA in Criminal Justice from Penn State, Immaculata University, and The University of Phoenix.
On December 31, 1994 Deborah married the love of her life, Leodis Quattlebaum, who passed on June 30, 2012 at 70. In late 1999 they adopted four children and one more two years later.
Deborah worked many places Harrisburg school district, Gaudenzia, and Sutton Place Behavioral Health to name a few. Dee enjoyed praising the Lord, music, meeting new people, teaching, and being with her family and friends.
Family and friends welcomed on Monday July 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 Noon at Cremation and Burial Society of Pennsylvania, Inc., 4100 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, Pa. 17109.
