Robert Delmar Ritchie

Robert “Bob” Ritchie passed away peacefully on May 18, 2023. He was 90 years old, born on May 13, 1933, to the late Ivy Harrison and Marion Delmar Ritchie. Bob grew up in New Milford, PA, before eventually settling in Wynnewood, PA, Narberth, PA, and then Rancho Santa Fe, CA, where he resided for over 20 years until his recent move back to Pennsylvania in early 2023. Bob was a University of Pennsylvania graduate and honorably served his nation in both the US Navy and US Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Captain. He spent his post-military career working in Advertising at Ted Thomas Associates, where he retired as Owner and President. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling the world, drinking fine wine, going out for dinner, and socializing with friends and family. He is survived by son Edmond T. [Sandra] Ritchie of Collegeville, PA; son James [Helen] McGinnis of Tampa, FL; grandchildren Tyler Ritchie, Ann Lane, Lorna McGinnis, Rowan McGinnis and cherished family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Rosalind A. Ritchie, son Hugh R. McGinnis, and grandson David McGinnis. Services will be private at the request of the family.
