Long lazy wonderful summers spent growing up in the woods at MomMom and PopPop's house. Finding long forgotten saw dust piles, climbing the boulders in the woods, catching crayfish and lighting bugs, waving the peace symbol to the rare vehicle that would occasionally drive by, snapping beans on the porch with MomMom for dinner, playing crochet in the yard, hiking for hours in the woods, picking berries MomMom would bake into a pie, growing rubarb for rubarb pie, drinking Oveltine, having the grandkids sit and eat dinner first than go back out to play while the grown ups ate, watching PopPop show slides of the trip they took out west, popping Jiffy Pop on the stove to eat while watching the slides, watching the first man land on the moon on the living room TV, going in the woods with PopPop to find a snake to bring into the house to scare my Mom and MomMom, PopPop laughing his head off when I did, finding salamanders, watching The Lawrence Welk Show, Johnny Cash, and Hee Haw, listening to albumbs on the "juke box" and dancing around the living room! My memories can go on and on. Thank you MomMom and PopPop for these wonderful childhood memories♥️

Wow, where do I start? As her 2nd to the oldest Grand Daughter, there are so many great memories of our "Mom-mom"! From the Sat/Sunday "family times" at their home in "the woods" to all the great trips we went on, to her "wise words of wisdom". The one time that I will always remember, us kids dancing in their living room, while Pop-pop playing his stereo. MM yelling, "Max turn that damn thing down"!

Thank you Mom-mom & Pop-pop, you gave us the world! 💗

{Our mother lives on in the hearts of those she left behind}
God's fingers touched her and she slipped away from earth's dark shadows to a brighter day.

God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb; He gently closed her weary eyes, and whispered.....,
"Peace be thine".

To a beautiful garden she has gone, to a land of perfect rest; though she is gone she still lives on in my.... 'garden of memories'.
