Lynne spent her working life in a variety of roles. Since 2006 she had been with Abington School District, greeting families at the door, and monitoring students during lunch and recess at Roslyn Elementary School. Early in her career, she cut hair at Strawbridges, worked in childcare, and cleaned houses.
When she was not working, she enjoyed being with her daughter, Julianne and her “grandpets”, going to the beach, and of course thrift shopping. Lynne loved animals and rescued many stray cats over the years. Lynne had tough times in her life, but she was always the first to lend a helping hand to others. She was a generous, caring soul, who spread her light to everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughters and their partners - Julianne Lowenstein and her boyfriend Kyle Panick, (who became like a son to Lynne); Katie Lukens (whom she loved like another daughter); and Jessica Lee and her husband Connor Lee; as well as her granddaughter Nova Lee, her sister Deborah Reyes, her niece Nicole Reyes, and many other friends, family and friends who had become family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her treasured grandmother Ethel Weiss, her grandfather Harold Weiss, her Stepfather Arthur Alan, and her Uncle Harvey.
