Heather Lynn Kapp

Heather Lynn Kapp passed away peacefully on Friday, March 24, 2023. She was 35 years old, born on March 21, 1988 to Edward R. and Linda M. (Finney) Payne. Heather was an honor student attending American University and also Kutztown University earning a bachelor's degree in English. She was an accomplished orchestra violinist in high school and college, while also playing for the Reading Youth Symphony Orchestra. She was a member of her college dance team. After college, Heather served her community as an Americorps Volunteer and also worked for Uline in Allentown. Heather then dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother of her three children, Atreyu 7, Emery 5, and Sayan 1. In her free time, she loved nature, reading, writing, music, and singing. She enjoyed peaceful mornings, knitting, coffee with croissants, hot chocolate and nettle tea. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Khail Kapp; children Atreyu, Emery, and Sayan, sister Janelle Payne, inlaws Michael Kapp and Susan Young, and many more relatives and friends. As were Heather's wishes, there will not be a formal memorial service, however, an informal gathering in Heather’s memory will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unite for HER, uniteforher.org, a non-profit organization based in West Chester whose mission is to enrich the health and well being of those diagnosed with breast cancer by funding and delivering integrated services. Heather particularly enjoyed the Reiki sessions offered by Unite for Her and also the healthy cookbook that they provided.
