Frances Marie Grottger

“Franny” spent her working life as a daughter, Sister and Mother. She was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School. Before retirement, Franny worked in the front office of Genuardi’s supermarkets. “Lotto Fran” as her family referred to her was a fixture in the front office, helping customers and dealing out winning lottery numbers, however she couldn’t quite pick the right numbers for herself. When Franny was not working, she loved spending time with her family and close friends and enjoyed spending time at her second home in Sea Isle City, New Jersey.

Franny is survived by her daughters Danielle Keane and Rebecca Grottger, son in laws Marty Keane and Patrick Bannon, Grandchildren Ethan and Aidan Todd, Ryan Keane, Grace and Liam Bannon. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur “Pete” Grottger and her sister Mary Jo Castrianni.

A memorial mass will be held Monday, January 13th, 2025, at 10:00 am at Holy Saviour Roman Catholic Church located at 407 E Main St, Norristown, PA 19401.

The family will be receiving guests from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
