It is with much sadness and love that the family of David Mark Alexander, lovingly known as “Pamps”, announce his passing on December 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Following a battle with cancer for over 5 years, he spent his last days at home surrounded by family - Kathy, his wife of 47 years, his son & best friend, Jesse Alexander, his baby girl, daughter Kristen McIntyre (Robert), and the pride and joy of his life, his 4 grandchildren, Taylor & Tiffany McIntyre and Pete & Hank Alexander.
David’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He served in the army during the Vietnam war, worked in a machine shop for many years and finally retired from PennDot in June of 2011.
He loved nature, taking care of our land and the wildlife on it, feeding the birds & deer, and we always had dogs.
He could fix anything - and he did! “Who am I going to call to ask how to do things?” was a common question in those last few days.
He was well known by his family for his lectures. Which were heard so often they were given numbers. But his words were wise and given out of love.
He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. REGULATOR’S Mount Up!
Mass will be held at St Catherine’s church on Wildwood Road in Allison Park at 11:00 on Thursday, December 19th.
