Lynda J. Kerr

She was the daughter of the late James and Florence Salada. She was predeceased by her husband David E. Kerr and her sister Vicky Griggs Cooney. Lynda was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School (Class of 1967) and the Penn State University – Harrisburg.

She was a member of the Eastern Star (The Glen Chapter – 425).

She worked as a flight attendant for Allegheny Airlines, a coordinator of the underage drinking program for the PA Liquor Control Board, a teacher for the Central Dauphin School District, and the U.S. regional manager and compliance specialist for Ignition Interlock of Alcohol Countermeasure Systems, Inc.

She is survived by her son, James J. Junkin (wife Debbie) of Virginia; two nephews, Jeffrey B. Griggs (wife Cindy) of South Carolina and Paul J. Cooney (wife Julia) of North Carolina; two grandsons, Jacob and Collin Junkin of Virginia; three great-nieces, Riley Griggs of TN, and Madelyn and Rachel Cooney of NC; two great-nephews, Isaiah and Titus Cooney of NC; and two step-grandchildren, Jack and Maya Checco of VA.

There will be a private burial at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.
