Larry L Bender, age 80, of Duncannon, PA passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Born in Tower City, PA on February 21, 1943 the son of the late Charles and Marion (Burns) Bender.
Larry graduated from Lykens High School. Larry was a United States Army Veteran who served for 27 years. He then worked for the Harrisburg Police Dept for 21 years until retirement. Larry loved fishing, hunting, and going bowling.
Surviving are his wife Darlene E. (Dippery) Bender. Two Daughters, Barbara (John) Shomper and Christine Bender. Two step-children, Scott (Valerie) Derendinger and Ann (Edwin) Aleman. Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. Brother and Sisters, Charles (Alice) Bender, Connie and Sharon.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM on December 12, 2023 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
