Born October 17, 1943 she grew up on Mount Nebo, with her mother Margaret Walter, and siblings Fern, Marion and Melvin, all who preceded her in death. Her father Harold and two infant brothers awaited her also.
On August 31st , her husband Edward, lost his battle with cancer. They had a deep love that could not keep them apart. We know that he welcomed her with open arms.
Bev, has left behind a legacy of kindness and giving. She was a religious woman, who saw the best in everyone. She always had a smile on her face that could not be erased by her many ailments over the years, or by the horrendous disease that would eventually take her. Assisted by hospice, she was a favorite for her perpetual smile and comical nature.
Christmas was her favorite time of year. She would host elaborate parties filled with games, prizes and laughter.
Bev, touched a lot of people’s lives over the years, and would give anonymously, to those in need. She didn’t want the recognition, only to help. She was an amazing, unselfish person.
She will be missed greatly by her daughters, Louanne, Tina and Michelle.
Bev, shared a special bond with her grandchildren Ashley, Justin, Breanna, Katelynn, Brittney, Chad, Stephanie and Jack. She loved taking them places and doting on them. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Eddie, Tommy, Gavin, Liam, Grayson, Kinsley and Charlotte.
All of those who knew her will remember her.
Services for Bev will be held on Thursday, December 14th at 10:00am at Calvery Chapel 130 Tennyson dr. Lancaster 17602.
There will be a private burial for family only after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give to Alzheimer’s research.
